When Ohio Production Paint and Assembly Corporation (OPPAC) expanded their current location in Osgood, Ohio, they wanted a shop and parking lot that mirrored their products – built to last. With heavy truck traffic a concern, concrete was an obvious choice for durability. When working with the owner and contractor, an integral water repellent was also included to add years of service free life to the concrete.

This 40 million, 107,000 square foot office building is truly state of the art – all the way down to the concrete. From high performance concrete to decorative, Pepcon was able to exceed all the tough expectations and specifications for this project.

This is truly a unique project. Concrete overlaid on top of an existing asphalt parking lot and driveway. Concrete was chosen as the superior product as it lessened the environmental footprint vs asphalt, while also providing many more years of maintenance free use. Within this 100,000 sq.ft. project high performance concrete, macro fibers, and integral water repellent were also utilized – extending the service life.
